My dad, the dog, and I were out for a short walk one evening last week and we came across these fat mushrooms. “You ought to take some pictures of those,” Dad suggested.
After taking a second look I agreed! So the next day I took the dog out the same way and brought my camera along. It was in mid-afternoon and the sun was still high in the sky so I didn’t know if the white mushrooms would just wash out in a photo depending on the angle. I put the camera on the close-up mode and took pictures from several angles. Eventually, I thought backlight would be best and as soon as I came to this angle I knew I would have a good shot! Sure enough! This is a keeper!

That is a great photo! I'm glad the light worked out for you so you could take the picture. Due to the high moisture, we get quite a few mushrooms in our yard, and some of them are very interesting looking!
